support women college students who are preparing for careers in education.

CHAPTER MEMBER AWARDS
Pi State/Alpha Alpha Woman of Distinction Award
Each year chapters are invited to submit a Woman of Distinction to be recognized at the Pi State level for their service. The award is announced at the Pi State Convention in April as a way for chapters to acknowledge one of their own in a wider arena.

Alpha Alpha Outstanding Service Award
The Alpha Alpha Outstanding Service Award recognizes the personal and professional contributions made by dedicated members of the chapter who have given outstanding service above and beyond what is outlined in the bylaws. Nominees for this award have demonstrated sustained service to the chapter through active participation, advocacy, and leadership.

- For a sophomore: Dr. Dorothy E. Foster Award
- For a junior: Dr. Frances Moroney Whited Award
