Benefits of Membership

Active involvement in Alpha Alpha activities provides a number of benefits, both directly and indirectly.

• Active members are eligible for Chapter and New York State scholarships to assist them in pursuit of further education. (Links Below)
• Meetings usually feature programs of a professional development nature dealing with current topics in education. 
• Members can assume leadership positions that involve leadership training. 
• Members receive publications from the Chapter and Delta Kappa Gamma International. 
• Members are involved in networking that can lead to fellowship and friendship with colleagues.
